What We're About
Our Mission
Vennmedia is a nonprofit media organization for people, businesses and communities working toward prosperity through economic, educational and community resources. Our purpose is to strengthen individuals, families, the economy and philanthropy utilizing new media technology. Through our educational programs, loans to nonprofits, and other special programs, Vennmedia is building a strong foundation for the future of the world.
Our Goals
Establishing and enforcing the vision of the organization which consist of updated versions of today's technology, providing comprehensive programs and more ecourse curiculum that allow students to obtain certifications in certain fields and/or industries.
Vennmedia will also support young Americans' efforts to rebuild the economy through entrepreneurship. We will empower young people to be self-reliant and experience free enterprise opportunities. We want all of our members with access to 21st century tools and skills, like computer science, that will prepare them for careers in the fastest growing sectors in our economy. Teaching our youth to think algorithmically and make scalable things like software will provide them with confidence and the ability to create their own paths to success.
We will help create a new generation of entrepreneurs by leveraging technology to scale our program delivery and volunteer engagement. We currently reach 7 million American students annually and are mobilizing resources and partnerships to meet the demands for access to our experiential entrepreneurship programs. If we acknowledge the role entrepreneurs play in building our economy and creating jobs and security in our communities, then we must demand correlation between what is taught and the role those entrepreneurs play.
We fix the economy when more small businesses are profitable, spend money and hire people. We can help small business grow by preparing people for the realities of small business, giving due respect to the business owners of America, providing the right tools and resources and helping to connect small businesses to each other resulting in a small business economy.
Time to Act
We have been working toward economic, educational and community development utilizing new media technology to create social change. We have been dedicated in offering top quality digital media courses, computer training, internship programs, job readiness programs and community resources. Recently, the organization has incorporated entrepreneurship training, loans to nonprofits and housing counseling into its list of services. Now, due to an overwhelming need for affordable housing, Vennmedia will also specialize in nonprofit housing development, mainly focusing on the development of low income housing properties for low-income residents, special needs residents and homeless residents. Vennmedia will particularly serve under resourced communities.
